Job Description

Executive Producer, CNN Global Productions Join CNN Global Productions to lead the creation of dynamic, multi‑platform editorial series that elevate the brand and generate sponsorship revenue. Located in New York, you will collaborate with a global editorial and insights team, and develop content that engages audiences across CNN's platforms. Responsibilities

• Build a new unit of master storytellers in New York and coordinate their work with existing teams in London, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Atlanta.
• Set goals, assign projects, and provide editorial guidance to a team of content creators.
• Manage series production budgets, track spending throughout the campaign lifecycle and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead professional development initiatives for team members, including skills training, mentorship, and career progression.
• Deliver on key performance indicators for each project; coordinate day‑to‑day administration and monitor performance with the Strategic Insights team.
• Work with data and insights to inform commercial decisions and ensure creative efforts resonate with U.S. audiences.

Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in editorial leadership and multi‑platform content creation. Experience producing and commissioning news, business, travel, lifestyle, and sport content. Deep understanding of U.S. audience preferences and information entry points. Knowledge of international news‑gathering practices, editorial standards, and program production. Strong production and writing skills and effective communication abilities. Team leadership skills with a history of inspiring and developing talent. Experience mentoring staff and talent. BA in journalism or related field preferred. Knowledge of foreign languages a plus. Compensation Base pay range: $146,860 – $272,740 per year.
