Pipe Welder

We are seeking two skilled Welding Technicians to join our team in a shop environment. This role involves welding stainless steel pipes to meet fabrication demands for upcoming projects. This opportunity offers a standard 40-hour workweek over several weeks and could potentially lead to a contract-to-hire position for the right candidates. A weld test will be conducted using a 2-inch schedule 10 stainless coupon TIG test.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipes.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding tasks.
• Utilize MIG welding techniques as needed.
• Engage in fabrication tasks to support project requirements.
• Ensure high-quality welding standards and adhere to safety protocols.

Essential Skills:

• Proficient in TIG welding of stainless steel.
• Experience in MIG welding.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and fitting.
• Ability to perform fabrication tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with flux core welding.
• Knowledge of sheet metal welding.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
