Job Description

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the creation of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Painter

Location: Spruce Pine, NC

Pay Range: $15/hr

Shift: 1st (7:00am- 3:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Mix, match, and apply paint to wood and metal surfaces, including gas stoves
• Complete touch-up work to ensure a flawless finish
• Use pressurized paint guns efficiently and safely
• Follow safety procedures such as grounding paint drums and tanks to prevent static electricity
• Operate respirators and adhere to respiratory safety protocols, including obtaining medical clearance

What's Needed?

• Previous experience with painting, especially in a manufacturing environment, is preferred
• Ability to use pressurized paint guns and understand safety procedures
• Comfort with respirator use and passing a respiratory medical release
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to static electricity grounding
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
