What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Mobile Development Lead within our IT Application Development division. This position falls under our North America Vehicle Payments line of business and is located in Atlanta, GA. In this role you will be hands-on and lead/empower one or more high-performing engineering teams to deliver innovative software solutions that directly impact our business objectives. This hands-on role will be responsible for developing mobile applications across Android and iOS product lines. Our primary development stack is Google Flutter but knowledge of different technical stacks is an advantage e.g. React Native. In addition to technical skills the leader should be a good people manager too. You will report into the VP of Application Delivery and regularly collaborate with other IT teams in the business. How We Work As a Mobile Development Lead, you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in the Atlanta office Formal, hands-on training Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Managing day-to-day operations of a software development team, inclusive of staff oversight, performance reviews, mentoring & coaching. Leading technical discussions, collaborate with other technologists, architects. Focusing on hands-on coding especially with Google Flutter, willingness to jump in and solve coding challenges. Guiding and mentoring other programmers, perform code reviews. Reviewing software designs and programs, ensure adherence to Business requirements, architecture principles, quality and security standards. Leading the development team from the frontlines, lead Scrum ceremonies, help remove roadblocks, adhere to Agile practices. Identifying system improvement opportunities, embrace a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Being responsible for people processes including hiring, mentoring and performance reviews. Providing leadership to team by communicating vision, strategies and objectives to employees. Working closely with Product Owners, ensure timely and successful completion of software development projects. Fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, iteration, collaboration, and accountability for commitments. Participating in code reviews and other technical oversight activities. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in software development especially product development. 4+ years of people management responsibilities. Hands-On Mobile App Programming Experience using Google Flutter. Experience with languages: Swift / C# / Kotlin / Java. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field or equivalent experience. Strong familiarity with multi-tiered client-server application architecture. Experience launching highly scalable mobile applications into iOS app and/or Android play stores. Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies and MuleSoft APIs is a definite plus. Experience delivering enterprise SDKs as a product. Project management skills, familiarity with Scrum practices. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to lead and coach others. Advanced technical & analytical skills required to diagnose & resolve problems. Knowledge of Implementing AI in mobile application is a very big plus.
