Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team, primarily focusing on TIG welding of aluminum, cabon steel & stainless steel. The role involves a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Wire Feed welding on various materials, with most tasks involving thicker tubing materials up to 1/20th of an inch thick.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Execute MIG, TIG, and Wire Feed welding on various materials.
• Weld on stainless, carbon, and aluminum materials.
• Read and interpret weld prints and symbols.
• Thrive in a custom job shop environment and deliver per customer specifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on all metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret weld prints and symbols.
• 2+ years of experience in MIG/TIG welding or equivalent schooling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, press brake, punch press, laser operation, and machine setup.
• Familiarity with brake press machines and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 30,000 square foot facility with a small team of about 10 people on the floor. The shop is climate-controlled, with brand new welding bays and equipment. This is a custom job shop where creativity and customer specifications drive the work, making it an ideal environment for those who are passionate about welding and fabrication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
