The Piping and Layout Planning Group is part of the GCO\nR&D Engineering organization based in Orlando and globally. The 3D Designer\nfunction is responsible for creating product layouts and baselines to support\ncustomer projects. This includes 3D modelling, 2D drawing creation, based on\nengineering requirements!

How You’ll Make an Impact

\n
• Build,\n revise and maintain Piping/Equipment models using Bentley Open Plant\n Environment
\n
• Handle\n complex drafting assignments under minimal direction
\n
• Build\n Piping and Structural Drawings using 3D models
\n
• Understand\n and incorporate engineers redlines
\n
• Build\n equipment layout drawings using 3D models
\n
• Develop\n and revise as needed various foundation drawings
\n

What You Bring

\n
• Associates\n in Drafting and Design or related field required
\n
• 2+\n years of professional experience using Bentley OpenPlant for 3D modeling\n and 2D drawing creation
\n
• Familiarity\n with gas turbine power plant design and layout
\n
• Experience\n generating piping assembly drawings and isometrics
\n
• Familiar\n with drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, engineering terms,\n accurate use of materials, reference books and catalogs
\n
